Full time/Part time MSK position Claygate Clinic

We are looking for experienced musculoskeletal physiotherapists to join our established Claygate clinic in leafy Surrey.

The right person for the job will be able to apply expert clinical skills to meet our patients’ needs with empathy and understanding.

You will be fully supported by both our clinical and admin team.

The Physio Company has been established since 2002. We have two corporate clinics, a private clinic in the London EC2M area and the clinic in Claygate, Surrey.

Alongside this we run a successful established workstation assessment business for remote and face to face assessments, providing opportunities to learn further skills if desired.

The Claygate clinic is situated in the centre of Claygate which is a lively commuter village 30 minutes by train to Waterloo. The clinic is just a 5 minute walk to the station and there is ample free parking available onsite and nearby.

The clinic is purpose built with 3 large, airy treatment rooms with plenty of daylight.

Objectives of this Role

  • Provide expert physiotherapy for patients with a range of musculoskeletal conditions
  • Adhere to industry standards and medical guidelines

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Assess and treat patients with a range of musculoskeletal conditions
  • Stay knowledgeable of current physiotherapy practices by way of continuing education courses, reading research articles and participation in our monthly CPD and regular mentoring sessions.
  • Evaluate patient’s progress and reassess treatment plan, if necessary
  • Educate patients on self management to continue treatment and cope with the recovery process

Skills and Qualifications

  • MCSP and HCPC registration
  • Be qualified for a minimum of 4 years with at least 2 years MSK experience
  • Possess good manual therapy, exercise prescription, rehabilitation and clinical reasoning skills
  • Be a good communicator able to foster positive relationships with team members and referrers.
  • Have previous private practice experience
  • Relevant and ongoing CPD for a musculoskeletal post and a keen interest in developing clinical skills.
  • Build on our established working relationships with medical consultants
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills

There is scope for a flexible work week as we are open from 9am to 8pm and operate a Saturday morning rota amongst the physio team

Salary £37-£40K FTE based on experience.

We have a mixture of corporate clinics and a private clinic in the City of London and a private clinic in Claygate, Surrey. Alongside this we have an established DSE assessment business using our trademarked The Desk Test™ providing remote and in person assessments worldwide.

We are looking for an experienced musculoskeletal physiotherapist to join our City clinics. This role will be a mixture of corporate and private clinic work, allowing for plenty of variety. All the clinics are a short walk from each other. The right person for the job will be able to apply expert clinical skills to meet our patients’ needs with empathy and understanding.

You will be fully supported by both our clinical and admin team.

There is the opportunity to learn the skills required to conduct the Desk Test™ to add to your clinical knowledge if this is of interest.

  • Collaborate with clinical staff and fitness professionals to provide comprehensive treatment and rehabilitation
  • Adhere to industry standards and medical guidelines
