All the Physiotherapists at The Physio Company are carefully selected for their expertise, caring attitude and sense of humour. The physiotherapists are all Chartered and members of the Health Professions Council and have gained years of experience working in both the NHS and Private sectors.
The quality of our physiotherapy treatments are very important to us and our physiotherapists hold post graduate qualifications in their particular areas of expertise as well as continuing to maintain a high level of clinical competence through The Physio Company regular in house training and external courses.
Are you recovering from joint surgery or an accident and need help getting back on track? We can help improve your strength, mobility, coordination and balance for a speedy recovery.
Our physiotherapists use a functional, integrated and evidence based approach to assess, diagnose and treat. A joint or muscle pain rarely occurs in isolation but affects or is caused by other parts of the body or faulty movement patterns. To get rapid relief from pain and prevent recurrences we will not only treat the pain but sort out the cause of it too and show you how to help yourselves.

Client Testimonials
Having had a shoulder injury for a while I was treated by Desiree. She carefully assessed my condition, outlined the treatment and provided a useful guide on timescales to properly manage my expectations. With the benefit of hindsight she was spot on with all she said. For me an important part of any treatment is how the service is delivered. Desiree was very professional, practical and personable and I recovered well following her advice. This meant that I was able to return to sport and exercise as quickly as I could. For completeness, part of my issue was developing an injury during the Covid lockdown. I sought treatment as soon as I could when things opened up. All of the procedures put in place to minimise the risk of infection worked well and I had no qualms having treatment in that environment.David
When I first met Amanda Harris I was suffering considerable pain and lack of mobility in my left leg following a sports injury. As I had historical left knee issues I feared that I would not regain my previous level of left knee/leg functionality. Amanda quickly identified the problem – a torn calf muscle – and recommended a highly effective course of treatment and exercises so that I was back to my previous fitness level within six weeks. Amanda has now created for me an excellent exercise programme to help me protect and maintain my left knee and leg to minimise the risk of further injury. She is highly knowledgeable, very personable, reassuring and professionally proficient – I am so pleased and grateful to have benefited from her expertise.Jo Bond
Amanda has helped me through a torn hamstring which has taken over two months to recover. This is the second time I have had a hamstring injury in the past eighteen months so it’s taken longer to heal. Amanda has shown me great exercises which have really helped ease the pain. Amanda has used amazing techniques and sports tape so it’s easier to move without hurting yourself and to loosen the muscles. And for those reasons I recommend Amanda and the rest of The Physio Company.
